The computer lab offers software for career exploration and job search. A lab pass from the receptionist is required before entering the lab. Counselors are available for assistance not related to equipment. A Lab Assistant is available for technical assistance.

- WinWay Resume Writer (resume guide)
- EUREKA C.C.S.I. (career research and self-assessment guide)
- Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing (typing tutorial)
- Prove it! to assess current job skills

Assistive Technology
Some of the workstations in the computer lab provide
greater accessibility for those of you who want or need added features
while working on the computer. These workstations include:
- textHELP - helps with reading and writing in any windows application
- WYNN Literacy and WYNN Wizard - reads aloud from the internet
- Adjustable motorized table height
- Screen magnifier with screen reader (ZoomText)
- Ergonomic keyboard and mouse
- Additional keyboard for limited limb mobility
- JAWS - enables computer access for blind or low vision user
- Intelli-Keys keyboard - provides large type, picture templates & templates for hand tremor
Headphones are also available. Be sure to ask the Lab Assistant for help when
using any of this technology.
